Kitten is thrown away and very hungry and thirsty she runs into a farm and meets Mr. Bo, a friendly ginger cat, and a woman called Grano.

She loves Kitten and gives her the name Stripy, but another cat called Blackie makes fun of her and tells her she is not wanted at the farm.
