The Red Carpet
Amy is raised in the glitzy façade that is Hollywood. Her mother, Maxine, is an Oscar winning actress, and her father, John, a famous film producer. When Amy is eight years old, Maxine is tragically killed. A grown woman, Amy becomes the focus of John’s obsession for her to star in his movies and be as successful as her mother. But Amy’s insistence on following her heart and moving permanently to Ireland causes a rift between them. As her own daughter, Emma, approaches her eighth birthday, Amy is haunted by the nightmare of what happened on her own eighth birthday, and determines to find out why.
